Writer's Block: Please don't call it a comeback

Which famous or infamous historical person would you bring back to life, and why?

There is only one person I'd bring back. The reason is he's an icon of Music History. I still remember the day I heard on the news that he was shot and killed in his prime. Could you imagine the music he would have written?

Writer's Block: Out, Out Damn Spot!

Have you ever been passionate about something to the point of an obsession? If so, how did it impact the rest of your life? Did you ever (or would you want to) break free?

I'm pretty much obsessed with World War II. Specifically Easy Company and the 101st Airborne. I'm also becoming increasingly obsessed with the Marine Corps. in the Pacific during World War II as well.

In other words I'm just obsessed with World War II period. Love it, Live it, Breathe it! Semper Fi! Currahee! All the way!

Would I want to be free of this. Hell No! The more you learn about history the more it comes to life and keeps those young men alive in the hearts and minds of others.

Writer's Block: For your viewing pleasure

What was the best movie of the year so far? Does it have the potential to become a classic?

I thought the film "Zombieland" was hilarious and a perfect spoof on the whole genre. I think it will become a classic. It's funny, scary, has great sight gags. Also Woody Harrelson has found his perfect role as Tallahassee.  This film is right up there with "Shawn of the Dead" when it comes to Zombie spoof films.
